Marche between sea and hills:
A region nestled between sea and hills, with this itinerary offers the historical wonders of its capital, the mystical atmosphere of the sanctuary of Loreto, the lively swarm of the famous velvet beach of Senigallia and the belvedere of the balcony of the Conero di Sirolo.
1st day Ancona (- / – / D)
Free arrival in Ancona, accommodation at your hotel in the early afternoon.
Around 4 pm meeting with the guide, walk and visit some places in the city: La Mole Vanvitelliana, a splendid pentagonal artificial island inside the port; the Loggia dei Mercanti; the suggestive Fontana del Calamo or of the Thirteen Cannelle. Followed by a visit to the Omero State Tactile Museum in Ancona, one of the few tactile museums in the world, created to promote the integration of people with visual impairment, it is today an innovative and pleasant space in which to learn about art through the surprising perspective of the hands. The rich tactile collection includes models of famous architecture (Parthenon, Mole Vanvitelliana), copies and casts of famous sculptures (Nike di Samothrace, Michelangelo’s Pietà in San Pietro, Italic Venus by Canova). Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Marche – Loreto – Basilica
2nd day Ancona – Loreto – Sirolo – Ancona (B / L / -)
Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide and transfer to Loreto Visit of the Holy House which was to house the Holy Family. Visit of the magnificent Basilica. Departure to Sirolo, along the way stop in a local winery for a tasting “in the dark” Visit of the winery with over a century of tradition of Marche viticulture. Lunch along the way in a local restaurant and visit of Sirolo, a seaside village on the Conero Riviera. In the afternoon return to Ancona, free dinner and overnight stay.
3rd day Ancona – Senigallia (B / – / -)
Breakfast and autonomous transfer to Senigallia, hotel accommodation (rooms available
from normal check-in time). In the afternoon, meeting with the guide and beginning of the walking visit dedicated to the historic center: the Rocca Roveresca, the Foro Annonario, the archaeological area La Fenice, La Rotonda, a jewel suspended over the sea.
4th day Senigallia (B / – / -)
Breakfast and check-out. Possibility of extending the seaside stay in Senigallia, near the hotel there is an accessible beach with a path up to the shore.
The beach establishment is located a short distance from the hotel.
It has a path to the sea accessible by wheelchair, accessible cabins and bathroom and even a wheelchair for bathing.
The cost of the bathhouse is not included and must be paid locally.
